Aren't these blueberries gorgeous? Mmmmm. Blueberry/watermelon juice. I've been waiting to try this combo for a week, and I must say, it doesn't disappoint!
Today's new juice combo fits in well with today's theme....feeling blue. It must be the weather or something, because I'm feeling a bit blue today. We had a late spring this year (April blizzard), and now we seem caught in an endless cycle of cloudy, rainy days. Weather is what it is...and normally I love it outside no matter the skies are doing. These cool, rainy days do lend themselves to feelings of quiet introspection, which I do appreciate during this feast. But hey, sun can be nice sometimes, too!
It was sunny for a while today. Long enough for our dog, Buck to sit on top of the garage (it's built into the side of a hill) and survey his kingdom. Lab love. There's nothing like it. My dog rocks :) He makes me smile..
On "lighter" note...literally.
Weight Update: Today started week #4, which means it was time to weigh in again this morning. I'm happy to report I've released another 4 lbs, for a total release of 18 lbs so far.
My current weight is 170 lbs, down from 188 lbs three weeks ago. Now that I'm in the groove I'm losing an average of 0.5 lbs per day. Whoopppeeee!!!!

Sleep & dreams: 7 hrs. Woke up with a stiff back this morning...probably more about sleeping with a dog across my legs than anything related to detox. No dream recall.
Exercise: 1 mile hike with dog
Sauna: 20 minutes. I'm starting to meditate while taking saunas now.
Energy: Awesome as usual!
Physical observations: down another 4 lbs this week :)
Comments: I'm starting to add some lemon to my morning water. I'm not crazy about the taste, but according to David and Katrina Rainoshek's 92-day Juice Feasting Program, combining the vitamin C from lemon with the MSM caps, makes it easier for your body to assimilate the MSM. I also upped my MSM to 3 caps per day because at this point, I thought my body would be able to handle it. It gave me the runs. Or else the blueberries did. I'm going to continue with 3 caps tomorrow, but switch fruit juices and see what happens.
